How to find growth and healing in 2021

  1. Find healthy ways to deal with the emotional turmoils you experience when shit hits the fan.
  2. Stop trying so hard to hold people accountable for their actions and behaviors. Learn to hold yourself accountable instead, for the roll you play in their lives and the things you are allowing.
  3. Learn to acknowledge your triggers; the things that make you feel bad and make you reactive. Work upon that. Inner work is not easy but it is definitely worth it.
  4. Don’t do them like they did to you; don’t hold grudges. Learn to say “we good. You may not hear from me again but we good ” and walk the hell away.
  5. Get curious about what false negatives have you created about yourself? What are some of your limiting beliefs?
  6. Become aware of the things that are holding you back. What are you holding unto that you need to let go?
  7. Make peace with your fears, insecurities, your dark thoughts and your ego. Then start working on them. And send love to the parts of you, you have deemed imperfect.
  8. Stop absorbing the pain of other people. Recognize what belongs to you and what doesn’t. Let go of the things that are not yours to carry.
  9. Learn to be by yourself. To the point where even when you are alone; you don’t feel lonely because you know, you are still whole.
  10. Recognize that you can be hurting and healing. Whatever it is that you’re doing in the process of healing let that be enough. Be proud of every small step you’re taking in coming back home to yourself.
